The Vortex Top Forced Air features a pipe on the top of the helmet that channels airflow from an external system and circulates it around the top of the head to reduce heat and increase cooling and onto the front of the shield to prevent fogging. The Vortex Top Forced Air is based on our lightweight Vortex and has been perfected through testing with top Nextel Cup Drivers. Locating the pipe on the top of the helmet instead of the side allows for increased driver head movement because the pipe does not interfere with the protective head surround of the latest safety seats. Excelerator is our top-of-the-line ultra lightweight high-speed aerodynamic open cockpit helmet designed to significantly reduce helmet lift and buffeting at speeds over 200 miles per hour. The Excelerator's narrow design, front spoiler and adjustable wicker combine to create helmet stability at high speeds. The helmet's adjustable side and top wickers allow the driver to raise or lower the wicker height from 100 thousands to 250 thousands to compensate for varying speeds and levels of helmet buffeting and lift. Additional features include a unique ventilation system that increases air circulation by accelerating airflow from the chin bar vents by drawing it through vents in the top of the helmet.
